“I was brought up milking cows on the family farm. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else”

Stack Farm | Kerry

Kerry Agribusiness

Joe and his son TJ Stack have farmed on this Tralee farm since 1971 and father and son entered into the registered farm partnership in 2015. The farm has been in the family for 10 generations. They increased their cow numbers from 55 to 80 post quota and decided to focus completely on dairy farming from beef. They believe in embracing new technologies to help manage the workload and improve efficiencies. The family have hosted a number of farm walks including a recent ASSAP walk on improving water quality. When they are not farming the Stacks enjoy all sports especially GAA, rugby and golf.
