Tommy Ormond’s family farm is in Templemore, Co. Tipperary. Also living on the farm with him are his wife, Mary, and two daughters, Sara Jayne and Moira. Tommy took over the farm from his own father, Michael, 20 years ago. Tommy’s parents, Michael and Mary, live nearby and have always been an important influence in Tommy’s farming development. Tommy has been farming as far back as he can remember and is grateful to live in a community where family and neighbours are always willing to help however they can. A great fan of GAA and spending time outdoors, Tommy spends his spare time breeding draught foals each year, and attends shows with his family during the summer months.
